Great candidates for CRT are:

Children with active life styles and whose eyes continue to change. (CRT can help slow or stop these changes.)
LASIK CANDIDATES whose corneas are too thin or for other reasons are not good LASIK candidates.

Some diabetic patients advised not to have LASIK.

LASIK CANDITATES whose vision continues to change but wish to have the visual freedom from glasses and daytime contacts.
Dry eye patients and eye allergy patients having problems with day time contact lens wear. (Eyes are closed and not constantly rubbing against the lens and outside pollutants are eliminated.)
Active individuals who wish to freely participate in sports without the interference of glasses or bother of contacts.
